Noriko Ambe, an artist in Tokyo, creates these delicate and complex paper sculptures and designs. Though the cuts are mechanical and created by human hands, they look like sheets of marble or shell worn away over time by natural elements or sections of bone. It's hard to believe that the sculptures are formed by stacks of free-hand, single sheets of hand-cut paper.
